Neat looking AirBnB in Rose Creek. I met the owner Sheryl today while pedaling through town and taking my usual picture of the church with the water tower in the background.

I met Sheryl who bought and fixed up this old UCC Church in Rose Creek, looks great, here is a web link for it: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/890685439298434766 I have usually pedaled past here every year I do the trail as it's right by the water tower and it's fun to see how it's been transformed over the years.

Only one camper in the park today, but a big flower sale in the basketball court by maybe a Amish family.

This is kind of the midway point between the start of the trail in Austin and the end of the trail in Lake Louise State Park.

It is a cool bridge leading into Rose Creek, interesting how it has big wood fences before the metal bridge with it's rails. They really want to keep you on the bridge. Guessing it's either for the snowmobiles, or they want to discourage fishing.

Not sure why they didn't just follow the old trail bed like they did elsewhere, and this is an interesting non-straight trail, but it works and the conditions are good. Had a few places with gravel thrown on it, I'm guessing from winter maintenance.

A nice town along the trail (the trail is a bit hard to follow here, you just have to plow through the town and find the trail again on the other side.
