Beautiful church which feels cut off from the community by a major road. Worth a detour to view it. Note, the nearby footbridge has a slope which can be cycled, as well as steps. https://pl.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kościół_św._Mikołaja_w_Siedlcu

The guild gate in Kostrzyn was built thanks to the efforts of the Kostrzyn craftsmen and handed over to the city during the Kurdesz Kasztelański in 1980. In 1477, there were seven guilds in the city, which also served as church brotherhoods. These were the shoemakers', butchers', tailors', furriers', potters', linen guilds and millers' (malt makers') guilds. Today, the emblems of the former brotherhoods and guilds are visible on the Guild Gate. (https://historianamapie.wixsite.com/kostrzyn)

A late Baroque burnt brick church built in the years 1770-1775. Its founder was Antoni Krzycki, the construction was completed by his wife - Franciszek née Skoreszewski, and both of them are commemorated by a plaque on the eastern wall of the building. On the tower, at the front, there is a clock face from 1887. Next to the church is a boulder with plasma flowing from the figure of the Resurrected Christ in Medjugorje. (Wikipedia)

It is a Romanesque building from the 12th century. The wall is 110 centimetres thick and is faced with granite cubes, with sandstone cubes at the corners. There are traces of sharpening and numerous cuts with a hard, sharp tool on the facing. During the restoration of the church in 1951 and in the following years, traces of a temple from pre-Romanesque times were discovered, destroyed by the Czech invasion in 1039, and a Romanesque altar mensa measuring 150x116x130 cm, built of seven layers of stone ashlars. Inside the church there is a late Gothic stoup made of sandstone in the form of a liturgical chalice and a late Gothic wooden figure of the Madonna and Child. (Wikipedia)
