A quite busy place in the summer season, but much fewer people during the week.

Fragments of the church's history based on information from the website https://www.parafialipowa.pl/?akcja=historia " The first mention of the church in Lipowa was in the year 1350 in records of the papal tithe collected in Poland in the years 1346-1358. The church in Lipowa was built around 1350, rebuilt twice, in the first half of the 16th century and at the end of the 19th century. [...] In the 1880s, the inhabitants of Lipowa began efforts to build a new church, which was to replace the existing, dilapidated wooden church. [...] The main construction work was carried out in the years 1894–1897, gradually surrounding the old church with walls and removing parts of the wooden temple. [...] The consecration of the building was performed in 1904 by Bishop Anatol Nowak."
