Main Beskids Trail — the longest Polish Mountain Trail
The history of these lakes is fascinating. It turns out they were formed by a landslide on the western slope of Chryszczata Mountain in 1907 after heavy rains! A natural dam formed on the Olchowata stream, and now there are the lakes. Today, it's beautiful, green, and very peaceful.

Chryszczata (997 m above sea level) is in the Wołosania range. The summit is forested, but there's a shelter with benches, which will certainly come in handy after a long hike, and it's also nice to sit in the shade on a sunny day. Beneath the summit is a World War I war cemetery.

The Wisłok Gorge called the "Olza Wall" in Rudawka Rymanowska is a beautiful place worth visiting at any time of the year. The 40-meter-high wall is an outcrop of menilite schists. In winter, impressive "icefalls" form here. You can park right next to it. The river here is shallow and you can wade in the water on a hot day.
