A cool attraction. We used it when going from Oświęcim to Kraków. The ferry trip costs only 1zł.

Dam in Łączany, about 20 kilometers from Krakow. It was built in the 1950s to facilitate water intake for the Skawina power plant. In addition, the dam serves flood protection purposes. A nice place on the route.

The Bobrowscy Palace in Andrychów (also called Andrychów Castle) is currently undergoing intensive renovation. Work, which began in the spring of last year, is in the first, crucial stage of renovation, focusing on securing the structure of the building. Key information about the current state of work (April 2026): Scope of work: Currently, complex earthworks and underground activities are underway. The key challenge is draining the flooded cellars and strengthening and insulating the foundations, which turned out to be in worse condition than expected. Estimated deadline: According to the current schedule, the current stage of securing work is expected to last until September 2026. What's next? After the completion of the foundation work, further stages are planned to restore the splendor of the facade and interiors, but their implementation will depend on obtaining further funding.

Due to ongoing renovations and construction work, the palace interiors are inaccessible to visitors. It is only possible to walk in the adjacent City Park.

The classicist, single-story, brick manor house is basemented and covered by low saddle roofs. Currently, it has a horseshoe plan. The central part is adorned with a portico with four Doric columns and a triangular pediment containing the coats of arms: "Jastrzębiec" of the Bobrowskis and "Poraj" of the Męciński family, from which Stefan Bobrowski's wife came. At the rear, it has a prominent avant-corps. Large, semi-circularly closed or rectangular windows. From the southwest, there is a corner turret.

A very interesting place where rivers intersect in tiers. A unique phenomenon in our area. I recommend seeing it for yourself.

The manor house was defensive in nature: it was surrounded by three ponds and a moat (the pond on the market square side was filled in 1875). One of the Bar Confederation's congresses was held in the hall with its adjacent turret. In 1756, the manor became the property of the Ankwicz family, coat of arms of Abdank. In the 19th century, the Bobrowski Counts expanded the existing manor house with two wings, giving it a horseshoe shape. The main entrance was located on the north side, as that was where the road was laid out.
