This memorial commemorates the tragic death of Adam Sztejko, one of the co-founders of Bydgoszcz Critical Mass. On the evening of August 27, 2004, a drunk driver struck his bicycle with tremendous force, causing him to fall and lose consciousness. Adam never awoke from his coma, although the fight for his life lasted until September 8, 2004. He was 25 years old.
