June 10, 2026, Church of St. Peter (Priko, Omiš)

Modern church building with a distinctive bell tower. In the background, the steep limestone rocks of the Dinara Mountains rise up.

Climbing the small castle is not suitable for people with mobility impairments or unsteady walkers. The natural stone stairs are high and partly narrow and very steep. Especially the last part to the castle tower is very steep and ends with 2 wooden stairs from which you can reach the view via an iron ladder! Entrance to the castle costs €4.

Gradska ura is the old town clock in Omiš, a symbol of the town and an important relic of medieval Omiš's town life. The tower housing the clock was built as part of the city walls, and you can walk through the archway. It's also a nice photo opportunity 📸 for souvenir photos. The tower is connected to the Church of the Holy Spirit/Crkva Duha Svetoga.

Beautiful town in Dalmatia. A truly breathtaking view when you look at the town from the mountain.

What is the difference? Both routes are very steep. On the "Easy" route, however, the ground is firmer. On the "Hard" route, the path is made very difficult by a lot of rubble and is also a bit steeper. In places, you have to sit down to get to the next step.

Very nice welcome when entering Omiš. On the left a view of the mountains and on the right a view of the open sea.

Beautiful climbing tour from Omis, also suitable for sure-footed children! Great view from above over the bay and the islands! Entry costs €3.50 per person from mid/end May.
