🚴‍♀️🆘🐗Faustus Heroldus 🥨💪🦸
July 6, 2026, Dlcnac Tunnel

The tunnel was officially opened on November 29, 1975. The villagers largely built it themselves through the karst rock at the time to facilitate the arduous transport of grapes. The donkey shortcut: Before the tunnel was built, winemakers had to painstakingly transport the grapes with donkeys over the steep mountain pass or take a 20-kilometer detour. The tunnel shortened this route to just 4 kilometers. Gateway to top wine: It opened up access to the extremely steep south-facing slopes where the first-class Plavac Mali grape variety thrives.

Beautiful small coastal town. Small supermarket. But almost everything was closed in the pre-season.

Beautiful view. The path up to just before the summit is easily doable by bike.

Bit sketchy trails to here, but the view is amazing, so the "sketchiness" is definetly worth it
