Del Rio Vineyards is surrounded by gardens and views of the majestic hills surrounding Gold Hill. It is an excellent place to stop after a long ride, where you can relax in the cozy atmosphere of the tasting room, a former 1864 hotel.

The Wimer Bridge, which spans Evans Creek, has a long history. It was built in 1882, replaced in 1927, refurbished in 1962 and again in 1985. The bridge collapsed in 2003, and in 2008, the current bridge was opened, having been constructed following the original truss design. The bridge remains an important landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a perfect spot to stop and take some memorable photos.
