The El Rio Trail is a paved biking, running, and walking path in Boca Raton, Florida. The trail passes under some of the highways in the area but keeps entirely away from major roadways. This is a great trail for out-and-back walks.

Spanish River Park is a full service park with grills, nature trails, bird observation areas, restrooms, and many sports courts. There is also a Bark Park located on the beach between lifeguard towers 18 and 20 allows your furry friend to enjoy the ocean! In order for the city of Boca Raton to be able to facilitate this, there are specific rules including permits needing to be purchased for each dog ($15-$210), leash rules, dog behavior, and more. For all rules prior to getting there, see the city's website. myboca.us/953/Bark-Beach-at-Spanish-River-Park Unless you have a beach cruiser or fat bike, you will need to walk your bike on the beach.

Gumbo Limbo Nature center offers sea turtle summer camps, turtle walks, hatchling release observations, and free outdoor marine feedings! Admission is free (but donations are happily accepted)!
