This is a popular parking lot for day hikers that want to visit Lake Ann and Rainy Lake. Note that you have to cross the road to get to the two lakes. The trail leading north from this parking lot is the iconic Pacific Crest Trail that will take you deep into the mountains. There is a pit toilet here.
