January 25, 2025, Foster Park

Foster Park is open to hikers and bikers only and boasts rolling green hills, the Ventura River, and lush vegetation. It is a great stop to find some shade. Visitors can enjoy the day-use area, two campgrounds (Residence and Red Mountain), and the Ojai Valley Trail, which passes through the park. On weekends, especially during peak season, the park may close due to capacity, so it’s advised to arrive early. Dogs are allowed on leashes, and facilities include picnic areas, restrooms, and playgrounds.ο»Ώ
