St-Mathurin Basilica - Very beautiful Gothic church of which only the chevet remains intact. The bell tower and the western facade are in ruins and the southern facade has collapsed.

Although the church is commonly referred to as a basilica, it has not been designated as such by the pope and is therefore not a basilica under Church rules. This church had to undergo many vicissitudes over the centuries, damage from armed troops, hurricanes, storms. Irremediable damage took place during the wars of religion. Restoration work was carried out in an emergency and without great care during the 19th century, in order to allow the reopening of the church for worship. The church was listed as a Historic Monument by Prosper Mérimée in the mid-19th century. And so it is that a part has remained in a state of ruin, while the main body of the church remains maintained, and can therefore shelter the exercise of worship or religious ceremonies. Please note that there is a drinking water tap with free access under the trees in the small square below the church.

If you think straight roads are boring, I dare you to take this one. 4 kilometers of road to yourself, no cars, no motors, just you and some runners in the forest. Gorgeous

Very beautiful road which crosses the forest and makes it possible to join Achères and the Route Ronde. Do not rely on the nomenclature of the Komoot map, the road is well paved and passable by road bike over the entire length, even if it remains a forest road with its small irregularities.
