The small sacral monument, which we encounter here in the form of a crucifix, is a universal sign of the death of the God-son Jesus Christ, who was executed on the cross and became man – but at the same time also a sign of the overcoming of death in the resurrection. Thus, all crosses point us to the – always inherent in Christianity – Easter perspective of hope, which in faith in God firmly trusts in overcoming death and suffering. + “We Christians particularly associate our hopes with the graces of heaven. Thus our hope has a concrete basis and arises from the belief in God's goodness and love. And we know whom we can thank when our hopes are fulfilled, and whom we can entrust ourselves to when our hopes are not fulfilled. I believe this certainty is already a grace in itself, which we are allowed to experience.” (Christiane Völkel)

Very nice route, 3/4 of which is in the forest. The few roads used are very quiet. The advantage of this route, if you like, is that it can easily be transformed into a mountain bike route. Just look to the right or left of the cycle path and there is a single track. Have a good trip to all those who wish to take it.

Mountain bike ride through the countryside around Versailles and Marly-le-Roi. The route offers a clear view of the beauty of the 18th-century monuments. Very relaxing.

I love this view... the water, the grass, the forest, and in the background, a castle... but not just any castle! You can stay there for hours without moving, just admiring it.
