Rode today and it was very easy. Beautiful views in many places, hardly any in others, as there are hills or hedges/trees on the left and right. But a perfect path for relaxed cycling and making good progress.

Nice café in an old railway carriage

Since the Vennquerbahn cycle path, or RaVell, was once an old railway line, there are still several relics from that era here. Otherwise, it's very well-developed and crosses some great bridges. From Bütgenbach, it's mostly downhill.

Nicely laid out for mountain biking, unfortunately I didn't ride it myself as I didn't have any safety equipment with me.
