A very nice and well-maintained gravel or leisure segment, the potholes are filled with gravel. In good weather, there's a little bit of Italian strada bianchi in the air!

Not recognizable from the outside, this church is all the more surprising from the inside! The modern frescoes match the original windows very well in terms of color and theme. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The church, along with the train station, market hall and railway, was one of the first investments in the 19th century to make this place attractive for seaside tourism.

The town housed a castle in the 12th century when the lords of the town played an important political role in the region. Today, there remains the 16th century enclosure, which has been altered several times over the course of the wars. The park of the castle, raised and rich in stories, constitutes a place of rest and pleasant walk.

Lac de Frace is known for the prehistoric finds made at the site, dating from the Mesolithic and Early Neolithic (10,000 to 4,000 BC). It was actually formed by the extraction of peat from the site during the two world wars, so that the local inhabitants used it as fuel to heat their homes instead of coal.
