There's a sign saying you're not allowed here, but the entire stretch is paved and intersects with the Carretera Forestal. This is a beautifully paved road that's perfectly suitable for cycling through the forest. Beautiful!

The route is nice but it is better to start in Trigueros if you are going with a hybrid or gravel bike, up to there the terrain is very bad and there is nothing remarkable from San Juan del Puerto.
