Ridgeway bridleway is very overgrown in summer and difficult to ride. Better take byway.

Here you will trail a section of the famous Ridegway, which is thought to be one of Britain's oldest roads! You'll be traversing along the exact route that has been used since prehistoric times by travellers, herdsmen and soldiers - a real fascinating piece of history!

St Andrew's Church is in the village of Wanborough in north Wiltshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the Diocese of Bristol. It has been designated a Grade I listed building by English Heritage. There has been a church at Wanborough since no later than the 11th century, but this was then rebuilt mostly through the 14th (when the tower with spire was added above the crossing) and 15th century (when the west tower was added), and then again restored in 1887. Fun fact: this is one of only three churches in England to have a western tower and a central spire. Ref. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Andrew%27s_Church,_Wanborough

It start with a small hill but easily done for all levels. Not many cars (usually walkers who park on the side) and few bikes and pedestrians. You then arrive at the top and have a nice view on both sides of the roads.
