A great area for hiking. The view of the Main Valley is simply breathtaking. From the bottom, the climb begins with a steep climb, but you're rewarded with this beautiful view.

In spring 2025, the Ludwig-Volk-Steg was demolished. The much more beautiful Höchheim Mainsteg, opening in late autumn 2024, is now a feast for the eyes. Wider, accessible by bicycle, and with a gentler incline, it is also easily accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Beautifully illuminated in the evenings.
