We needed to use the Intercom access, state our business and were buzzed through - being told "to stick to the paths". There are two gates, one on the west side and one on the east.

Lovely coffee and snacks at the little cafe. Very reasonable prices too, and plenty of places to sit.

The walk along by the sea is great. For some reason the route then goes inland and through various housing estates which wasn't so great. Would have been better to keep on the coastal path and then double back.

Coffee, bacon rolls, breakfast pancakes and other drinks & snacks. The toilets are shared with the boatyard and fairly close if a little tricky to find. Get the toilet key from the cafe.
