This is crap. Just stick to heading via Thundridge, even if you are riding south on Cambridge Road.

This is across an open field, the mud was so thick I couldnt even push the bike to the nearby lane, and spent ages scraping off mud to enable me to carry on.

Through the gate from the small business estate and down the hill you go. Just be careful as there are a couple of hidden dips.
