April 7, 2025, The Hill Village Hall Café

On the first Sunday of the month in the Village Hall, there's plenty of cakes and hot drinks. In the morning it's set aside for cyclists, with racks for bikes.

This beautiful church appear to be in the middle of nowhere when approaching along the footpath... the village of Rockhampton is just beyond.

A nice spot to sit and contemplate the world.

Great section of gravel track. Great to do with the other highlighted section nearby (Duckhole Drover's Lane), though a bridleway through a field needs to be traversed between the two. The field itself is fairly flat and solid, though not likely to be like that in the winter!

Nice spot to stop for a break. Quintessentially English.
