Newbold on Avon is a pretty suburb situated along the banks of the Oxford Canal in Rugby, Warwickshire. Newbold has two great pubs, The Boat and Barley Mow, which are a great place to stop for a refuel mid-walk.

Easenhall is a small pretty village situated 4 miles north-west of Rugby in Warwickshire. The village has a pub, hotel and many connected walking trails that lead out into the countryside.

Brinklow Marina, on the Oxford Canal, is surrounded by gorgeous Warwickshire countryside. From here you can ramble to any number of charming villages. Church Lawford and King Newnham straddle the River Avon to the south, the village of Brinklow is a short walk to the west, whilst Easenhall lies just to the north. The Golden Lion in Easenhall boasts fine dining and grand hotel rooms.

A lovely walk either side, canal a bit muddy, going towards Coventry along the canal is a bit over grown with side of the bak missing as well... Can be done though. Other way is a great ride, jump off at different bridges...
