The early morning is a fine time to cross this last part of the Vale, with the early light catching the trees, and a light mist in the air.

October 15, 2025, River Isborne

The best part of this route is the section that follows the River Isborne. The river rises on nearby Cleeve Hill, meandering down from the Cotswold Hills to join the Avon in the Vale of Evesham at Hampton.
