Daisy Nook is a popular country park with many people walking about with children and dogs. There are ponds with swimming birds and they are pleasant to look at

There are several of these barriers in Daisy Nook Country Park. They are narrow and you have to dismount from the bike and twist the handlebars sidewards and push the bike through. They are a bit annoying

Lying in the Brushes valley, Higher Swineshaw Reservoir is the highest of a series of four reservoirs. It was constructed in the 19th century with the primary purpose to ensure a reliable supply of safe drinking water for the region. There's a bench at this spot, making it a good resting place.

Fairbottom Branch Canal spans the length of the Daisy Nook Country Park in Greater Manchester. Immerse yourself in the serenity of this idyllic waterway, as you stroll along its banks, enveloped by lush, verdant foliage. The canal's surface, adorned with delicate lilypads, adds a touch of beauty to the already picturesque scene.
