Very beautiful, almost entirely shaded and cool. In some places, the vegetation is very lush, but there are alternative routes. As always, there are the inevitable fallen tree trunks along the way. One in particular is 15 cm in diameter, but you can climb over it. Have a good trip!

Very simple church from 1600 was originally also provided with three other altars, one dedicated to the Body of Christ (with a painted altarpiece and in poor condition), one dedicated to the saints Christopher and Anthony with a fresco, and one to Saint Rocco with a painted altarpiece depicting the saint together with Saint Sebastian and the Blessed Virgin. There were two entrances (one on the front and one on the side) and the windows were without glass, protected only by tattered cloths. The floor was only partially paved with tiles, the rest was in beaten earth. The Grand Chancellor of the County of Romanengo, Diego Salazar, donated in 1618 the relics of twelve saints placed in a precious wooden reliquary, now disappeared. The building was probably expanded at an unspecified period, maintaining its original characteristics.

The Naviglio Civico di Cremona or Navigli Cremonesi cycle path follows the artificial canal of the same name for 27 kilometers, crossing the province of Cremona. Points of particular interest along the route include the "Sentiero dell'olmo," a two-kilometer unpaved nature trail, and the "Tombe Morte" area, a crucial waterway intersection where the Naviglio Civico di Cremona meets the Canale Vacchelli and the Naviglio Grande Pallavicino, and from which 11 irrigation ditches begin. The route is flat and presents no difficulties. An integral part of the "Music in the Wind" cycle-musical itinerary, it crosses the plain between the Adda and Oglio rivers in the provinces of Bergamo and Cremona, and is composed of three routes: the Cremonese Canals itinerary, the Adda and Serio itineraries. The routes mainly follow protected cycle paths or trails, as they are almost always within the protected natural areas of the Serio Park or the Adda Sud Park.

The cycle/pedestrian path at the northern gates of the city of Cremona is part of the cycle path that connects the city to Brescia. In this stretch you are sheltered from car traffic and the well-paved surface makes the road passable even in the rainiest seasons.

This farmhouse can be included, like many of the constructions scattered in the countryside of Castelverde, among the fortified agricultural buildings. And it is, among these, one of the most curious, if not its layout, entirely traditional, certainly for the fairy-tale taste of the romantic additions, with their reference to a fantasy Middle Ages. It is nineteenth-century neo-Gothic architecture.
