When they finally manage to get close to each other, they are exhausted, without strength. They embrace for the last time, no longer able to overcome the fury of the sea, which swallows them and drowns them. However, the sea god regrets it, he has compassion for the two innocent sisters who died, one from carelessness and the other from brotherly love; so he transforms them into two sea stacks, close for eternity.
