In the English cemetery of Giavera lie buried the men who died in defence of the Austrian advance from December 1917 to March 1918 and those who fell west of the river Piave. The Cemetery stands on land donated by the Italian State to the British Empire and houses the remains of 417 soldiers of the imperial army surrounded by a splendid English lawn. The current building is the result of a reconstruction after the devastations of the Great War, which almost razed the previous temple to the ground. Architecturally, it presents a sober facade that leads to a bright and solemn interior, where valuable works saved or restored after the conflict are preserved. The church serves as the beating heart of the community, indissolubly linking religious faith with the historical memory of the territory, indelibly marked by the battles of the Piave. Its elevated position also offers a suggestive view of the river and the surrounding plain, inviting reflection.

The restaurant La Beccaccia in Cornuda is famous for the impressive scenic presence of a real State Railways steam locomotive, positioned right at the entrance of the establishment. This historic giant of black iron welcomes visitors in the garden, becoming an iconic symbol of the place and a unique visual landmark in the entire area. Although the locomotive serves as an extraordinary outdoor monument and is not used as a dining room, its proximity lends a charming old-world atmosphere to the entire setting. The meal is actually enjoyed in the internal rooms of the restaurant, a cozy Venetian farmhouse where the rustic atmosphere and traditional cuisine complete the evocative experience suggested by the presence of the train in the park.
