If the grass is cut it is easy to pass and you avoid the provincial road for a while

The routes wind along various types of roads, in any case the pedaling is easy and requires only modest training then, as happens to me, when you can't do it, you get off for a while....😂

Medieval town, very beautiful in its historic center, where the 14th century tower built by the Knights of Malta (then the Knights of St. John) called Torre Gerolosometana stands out

Medieval town, perched in the north-west part, just a few km from the sea, rich in history and culture, definitely worth visiting

Built in the 14th century by the Knights of San Giovanni, now of Malta, the tower stands on the highest point of the city and reaches 28 metres. high and 8 meters on each side, it has thick perimeter walls and inside it has no stairs, but a lateral walkway with architraves up to the top. Its width is constant and its entrance door is level with the pavement, unlike the frequent typologies of pusterle placed at a steep difference in height from the ground. Above the clock, on the facade, an eight-pointed Maltese Cross is preserved and above the entrance door there is a lunette with the "Triumphant Christ", of clear pre-Romanesque origin, probably coming from the Imperial Abbey of Santa Croce al Chienti .
