The Museum is linked to Stazione dell'Arte right outside the town. In addition to the exhibition you can enjoy the view from the rooftop. Exhibitions covered Marc Chagall and Maria Lai at the time, when we were there.

Mandatory stop. The cave is absolutely spectacular and fully worth the ticket price (12€, for a 90-minute guided tour).

1) a frame, created by Maria Lai, made up of several ropes that intertwine in the iron pipes of the washhouse to create an enormous traditional frame. 2) a sound fountain, by Costantino Nivola (and the last of his career), built from bronze tiles where water flows creating different melodies 3) a mosaic, placed above the "Fontana e susu", made with granite, white and pink marbles, and stones, created by Luigi Veronesi. Lastly, the paving of the square is by Guido Strazza.

The washhouse is one of the most important buildings of Maria Lai's "Open-Air Museum". Fallen into disuse around the 70s, it was recovered and enriched by various installations in the following decade.
