May 18, 2026, Osservatorio Astronomico Serafino Zani

From the Planetarium and Museum of Constellations of Lumezzane, it is possible to observe the stars and constellations under a large dome with a diameter of 6 meters, relaxing in the dim light and letting yourself be lulled by engaging explanations and recited readings. An experience made possible by the commitment of the Brescian Union of Amateur Astronomers in the Lumezzane Planetarium, open every day by reservation for groups and school classes. For those who prefer to be outdoors, the Museum offers the opportunity to admire the starry sky with their own eyes thanks to the telescope installed on the Colle San Bernardo of Lumezzane Pieve, home to the Astronomical Observatory. The Planetarium and Museum of Constellations are open from May to September every Saturday (except the last Saturday of the month), and the observatory awaits tourists for a pleasant family experience. Events take place as follows: at 9 PM there is a popular science talk by amateur astronomers, while at 10 PM the telescope observations begin. The area also hosts temporary exhibitions and themed evenings.

Between Sarezzo and Cogozzo, this stone bridge over the Mella River (along which you can see storks, herons and other types of birds) allows you to enjoy a glimpse of one of the most famous rivers in Lombardy. It flows into the Oglio in the municipality of Seniga.

The highest peak between Lumezzane and Concesio, Monte Palosso (Palòs in the Brescia dialect) is also the highest peak in the lower Trompia valley. On the summit (at an altitude of 1,158 meters) there is an iron cross and a small bivouac.

Bridge that allows the continuation of the Valtrompia cycle path on the other bank of the Mella. It is located in an area affected by works for the Valtrompia motorway junction, so it is better to check its practicability in advance
