This section of the trail is very overgrown, with thorny branches, man-sized ferns, foxgloves, and rocky sections - but the view from the summit is phenomenal.

Beautiful fountain in the market square. Children love to play at the fountain. It shows the arcaded houses typical of Muros. In the past, all the houses in Muros stood on arcades (arches). Their fishing boats were below and the apartments were on the first floor. It was very practical because they could go fishing directly from their apartments. But that also entailed dangers. They were easily attacked from the sea. After being attacked by pirates many times, the families retreated inland. Today you can see the architectural style typical of Muros here again.

A beautiful town hall in a fishing village. There is also a public toilet in the town hall. On the rather spacious market square there is a fountain and a bench under a shady tree. 🌳 The market square is a wonderful meeting place for young and old.

Fishing boats with freshly caught fish arrive in the port of Muros every day. And also with the "harvest" from the mussel farm off the coast.
