The Old Synagogue in Třebíč is also known as the Front Synagogue or Old School. The synagogue was built between 1639 and 1642 in the Baroque style. In 1757 it was lowered by one floor, presumably because it blocked the view from the castle. After a fire, it was reconstructed in a neo-Gothic style between 1856 and 1857. It is a free-standing, one-story building with a rectangular floor plan and a hipped roof. It was a synagogue with traditional interiors with 114 seats in the hall and 80 seats for women in a gallery. After the Second World War, the building was initially used as a warehouse. 1953–1954 it was acquired by the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and adapted to its purposes.
