This nice little weir on the river Elling is located just outside the homonymous town. Here you can see the waters flowing under the street and discover a mixture of terrain and wetland.

Through this quiet road, you can get out of Kilden and Frederikshavn. The nature here is really silent and you can enjoy a typical Danish countryside.

The approximately 800-year-old Tårs Kirke is located in the center of Tårs. In the apse of the Romanesque church, built from granite blocks, there are remains of frescoes from the 13th century. The Gothic tower, built around 1300, was later demolished. The oldest piece of the church furnishings is the baptismal font from the time of construction. The altarpiece and pulpit are from the late Renaissance. The altar shows the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension of Jesus in three paintings one above the other; the Lord's Prayer is on the side panels, and the words of institution are below the paintings. Under the five colored reliefs on the pulpit parapet, each of which depicts a scene from the life of Jesus, there is a corresponding sentence from the creed.[6] On July 9, 1920, a reunification stone (Danish: genforeningssten) was erected in Tårs as a memorial to the reunification of North Schleswig with Denmark in 1920. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%C3%A5rs_(Hj%C3%B8rring_Kommune)
