From this wonderful viewpoint, just north of Lystrup, you can see towards Aarhus and its coast. The landscape gets as hilly as Denmark gets.

Well doable with kids (7+), not doable with normal streetbike.

Aarhus Camping, FirstCamp Aarhus is beautifully situated in nature, lots of greenery and lovely pitches of different sizes. The sanitary building is adequate, the kitchen area is well equipped. Overall, it's actually a wonderful place, but unfortunately not enough care is taken in some places. By bike, it's about 11 km into the city on exemplary marked cycle paths (Aarhus C). The path runs briefly along the road and then along the railway. It goes up and down, easy to manage with an e-bike.

The blue mountain bike trail in the forest of Hinnerup is a dream! Easy to do and a ton of fun. Road the entire loop, then continued the ride. Coming back to the beach on a lonely small country road almost all the way from Hinnerup. Then on the beach all the way back to Aarhus. And all that on a reliable (if small) Donkey Republic bike that I rented in Aarhus.
