Bettisonโ€™s Folly was built some time between 1829 and 1853 by William Bettison, a Hull-based brewer, in what was then his garden. All in pursuit of his desire to ensure his dinner was served on time. The folly is hidden down a residential street and well worth a detour if youโ€™re in the area.
