The Protestant cemetery dates from 1848 and was the first cemetery to be established 6 years after Königsbrunn was founded. Even after the town was recognized as a municipality in 1842, the Protestants among them continued to belong to the parish of St. Ulrich and Afra in Augsburg, and their dead were buried in the Protestant cemetery on Haunstetter Strasse, about 15 kilometers away. The Catholic cemetery was approved 2 years later in 1850. On June 1, 1912, the mortuary and an annex with an apartment at the Protestant cemetery were inaugurated.

In 1688, a large office building with a customs station was built between Augsburg and Landsberg at the intersection of the Via Claudia Augusta and the medieval road of the Bishopric of Augsburg - on the orders of the then Bishop of Augsburg, Johann Christoph von Freyberg. A restaurant called "Mittlerer Lechwirt" and later "Neuhaus" was also built. The innkeepers received important privileges such as brewery, cheese-making, bakery and butchery rights. After the construction of the Bobingen-Landsberg railway line around 1850, it lost its special importance.
