A good discovery is the relatively new Italian restaurant on the Griebnitz Canal at the Hubertus Bridge. The place was apparently previously called Hubertusbaude and stood empty for a long time. Now it has been stylishly renovated. When the temperatures rise, the beer garden on the canal is sure to be great.

This place has been reopened as an Italian restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating. When the weather is nice, it's definitely a nice place to sit.

The suggested trip looks nice, but due to forest-safety rules (danger of trees falling on people due to water shortage), part of the scenic route close to the water is closed. Hence, the idea is nice and should be tried again at a later point. Both restaurants at the start of the loop looked very inviting, but we did not try them.
