The church is a branch church of the Catholic parish in Pasewalk and belongs to the Archdiocese of Berlin (Deanery of Vorpommern). It is oriented north-south and is built of reddish brick masonry (neo-Romanesque style with a polygonal choir, buttresses, round-arched windows, and a square tower with a pyramid roof).

Building plan from 1842-1953, built in 1953. Rectangular white plastered building on granite stone foundation with a gable roof made of red brick, west portal in a gabled wall, small roof turret with cast iron bell from 1954, north-eastern extension, slim rectangular windows. Organ by Eule, Bautzen, 1954. The cemetery is located a few meters behind the church to the east. There is also a funeral hall there.
