Klausi
June 11, 2026, Lutherkirche Bad Harzburg

Until 1901, a village church stood here. It was replaced by a larger church (800 seats) in the Neo-Gothic style. The consecration took place on the first Sunday of Advent in 1903. The church tower with the historical bell from 1674 and two new bells (2010/2011) is 56 m high. The large Sauer organ was built in 1903 as a gift from the König family. Source: Information board After various modifications, the instrument regained its original sound in 2001. The organ has 40 registers and three manuals. The Lutherkirche was originally completely painted by Adolf Quensen. The exterior facade is made of Blankenburg sandstone.

At the foot of the castle hill, a stroll through the wonderfully relaxing spa park is highly recommended. It features a lynx fountain, multigenerational fitness equipment, and a Kneipp pool. Relaxing on the loungers and benches amidst the greenery is the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. Refreshed and re-energized, you can continue your walk towards the "Bummelallee" (promenade). Source: https://feriendomizil-badharzburg.de/bad-harzburg/kurpark/

One thing is clear: you dream of the old days and wish they would last forever. But age is only an illusion; those who live with dedication and passion remain young. Time passes; it doesn't stop, just as the river never rests. A kind thought, a friendly look, brings warmth into life and shines back on you. Because time passes and doesn't return; it teaches us to enjoy the moment every day!
