The Halimasjärvi Nature Reserve, located between Atala, Kumpula, and Risso, is an excellent destination for a hike—even for the whole family. Outdoor activities and relaxation are best enjoyed along the trail that circles Halimasjärvi, parts of which run on duckboards. From the duckboard trail, you can take a detour up terrain steps to the rocky eastern shore to admire the scenery. The trail cannot be ridden by bike, but I locked my bike to the signpost poles. Great views can also be found just a few steps from the bike path.

A lot of people on a warm summer day because the beach is nearby. So it’s not the best time to go during peak season if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. :) A lot of people on a warm summer day because the beach is nearby.
