This was a really nice shelter. It can't be booked. So getting there early is pretty key to making sure to have a shelter. There are, however, several other shelters and camping areas nearby as backup.

New shelters were set up at Esrum Lake in 2021. Apparently the shelters cannot be booked. First come first serve. All shelters have a bench in front of them and a fireplace and access to the lake.
