This was a really nice shelter. It can't be booked. So getting there early is pretty key to making sure to have a shelter. There are, however, several other shelters and camping areas nearby as backup.

Here is the Søren Kirkegaard stone. It was set up because the philosopher was often here to find solitude in this place. Since "all roads meet" here, there is not much left of loneliness here.

New shelters were set up at Esrum Lake in 2021. Apparently the shelters cannot be booked. First come first serve. All shelters have a bench in front of them and a fireplace and access to the lake.
