The first Skovlyst restaurant was built in 1926 by farm owner Jens Andersen. He was interested in astronomy and built the 18-meter-high tower behind the restaurant in 1935. A telescope was placed at the top. Today, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Svanninge Bakker from the tower. The five floors house an exhibition on the natural and cultural history of Svanninge Bakker. https://www.visitfaaborg.de/faaborg/plan-your-holiday/viewpoint-tower-svanninge-bakker-gdk1105505

In the Danish South Sea, it is not only the island of Langeland that has wild horses to offer – with a bit of luck, you can also spot them on Fyn.
