Myrhøj burial mound is accessed by a series of large stones that are believed to have been erected for cult ceremonies. The mound itself was built in the early Bronze Age (1700-1100 BC) for the burial of an important person. Several burials were also made here later. The mound was archaeologically investigated in the 1960s and reconstructed afterwards. https://slks.dk/doil/stederne/myrhoej-gravhoej-og-stenraekker

Herregården Hessel is Denmark's last four-winged, completely thatched manor house with roots that go back to the 14th century. Today, the historic walls house a museum worth seeing. In 1870, a census was held in Denmark. We know who lived on the farm at that time. The owners were Hans Christian Elle and his wife Christense and their three unmarried daughters. There was also a cousin of Hans and two nieces and the manager. There were also nine servants and three maids. How they all lived and worked on the farm is explored using a few examples during a tour. More information: https://herregaardenhessel.dk/
