You should definitely go here and have lunch. The lunch menu is very tasty and organic. The building itself won the silver prize in the “Sveriges mest omtyckta nutida byggnad” architecture competition a few years ago. Concerts and performances are regularly held here. A stroll through the adjacent gardens is also worthwhile.

Nice and fairly expansive swimming area with many fireplaces. The lake is somewhat shallow at first so you have to walk a bit into the water before swimming. Seems to be a popular place.

At Eklundsnäsbadet, one finds a playground, two barbecue areas with multiple fire places and a nice sand beach as well as toilets and a kiosk which opens during the bathing season. According to Södertäljes website, the parking is free. More information: https://www.sodertalje.se/kultur-och-fritid/natur-och-friluftsliv/badplatser/eklundsnasbadet/

There is enough space for a tent right on the lake. At the very front is also a campfire spot and a small stack of wood for free use. We shared the place with very relaxed cows who have sunbathed there as well.
