Very nice place with a shelter ≈5x3m with roof overhang and clothesline, sheltered rest area, fireplace with grill, 2x toilets, very good access to the lake on the eastern side

This is probably the steepest part of the hiking circuit and can be quite challenging in wintry or wet conditions. Lucky for those who walk the route clockwise, because then it is the descent from the viewpoint. If you walk the other way around, you have to be prepared for a difficult climb.
