Very nicely located shelter. Unfortunately a bit dirty due to inconsiderate users. We had to clean up first and take most of the leftovers with us the next day.

This is a nice spot in this tranquil forest to look out over Stora Mettjärnen. The forest looks enchanting, and it is just such a peaceful spot.

The flat rocks at the southern end of Stora Stentjärnen are perfect for sunbathing or a refreshing dip in the water.

A dam connects the two shores at this narrow point of the lake. The interesting structure, with its ramp between four jetties, helps canoes and other small boats cross from Stora Stentjön to Syrsjön, or vice versa. It's also a great spot for a break with a view of the water.

Lake Surtesjön forms a long bay here. A path runs along the shore with views of the water, and there is also a jetty. Very idyllic!
