Seeing the previous photos, it seems that the place was renovated very recently (we went there in July 2024). Wonderful big windshelter, directly on the Sörmlandsleden. Very large barbecue area with large benches. The area around is wide and flat, perfect to pitch tents. There are also many blueberries during summer, a'd a lake nearby with planks to access the water.

You should definitely go here and have lunch. The lunch menu is very tasty and organic. The building itself won the silver prize in the “Sveriges mest omtyckta nutida byggnad” architecture competition a few years ago. Concerts and performances are regularly held here. A stroll through the adjacent gardens is also worthwhile.

The bridge is small but strong. It takes you across this swamp very well.

If you continue after the fire spot, you will see this little creek. If you turn right, you can walk along the lake. It is small path but lovely.

There is enough space for a tent right on the lake. At the very front is also a campfire spot and a small stack of wood for free use. We shared the place with very relaxed cows who have sunbathed there as well.
