A gust of wind has passed, the tree has died on the mill. Let us hope that the lumberjacks will pass in turn.

Located in the commune of Compreignac, it is a former 12th century priory which, with its "Bonne Fontaine" still attracts pilgrims on the Stations of the Cross. tourisme-hautevienne.com/heritage-and-visits/built-heritage/religious-buildings/chapelle-de-saint-eutrope-46625

From afar it's a pile of pebbles, from the front a head of .... with the imagination we can say everything. In profile we can clearly see a large head, a smaller one with the nose and eyes on the right and a third on the back. Nature does things well.

Having been there several times, hiking, photography, mushrooms (we don't say where), we never tire of the area, the building has the merit of still being there, my preference is on the park side.

Near Fondanèche, on the way it invites you to enter the property. Of course private. You will notice its cartwheels in decorum and its two half-moon entrance walls, each with a hat of the same invoice. All in mossy stones that hints at the presence of time.

On the banks of the Couze, the mill is splendid with its two large well-maintained buildings. The first overlooking the park, the second with its balcony overlooking the lock on which geese and ducks paddle. The weir with the footbridge and the bridge, make the place pleasant, where it must be good turns.
